Titans add Simms
to QB depth chart

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with Chris Simms, bringing back a quarterback they had in 2008 as he worked himself back into shape.
The Titans announced the move Monday, making Simms the third quarterback on the roster with Vince Young and Kerry Collins.
But the addition of Simms might help the Titans push Collins to reduce his pay from the $5.5 million he is scheduled to earn this season backing up Young.
A third-round draft pick in 2003 by Tampa Bay, Simms is 7-9 as a starter and has thrown for 3,117 yards and 12 touchdowns with his best season in 2005 when he led the Bucs to the playoffs. He spent last season in Denver and started one game.
