Another change is coming to one of the family businesses of E.W. James and Sons.
Generations Restaurant, which opened in June 2001, has now officially closed.
The restaurant — named for three generations of the James family — served its last meal on Easter Sunday and closed the following Monday as construction crews began renovations on the inside of the restaurant building. A lunch buffet and Charley Biggs Chicken are now available in the deli area of E.W. James and Sons Supermarket, with a temporary seating area located there as well.
Current plans are to have the building ready for a new business in mid-May, with further information to be released soon, according to Steve Hilton, director of marketing and public relations.
