MEMPHIS (AP) — A Memphis Crime Stoppers call center worker is accused of helping another man wanted for murder evade the police.
WMC-TV reports an arrest warrant charged Travis Williams with accessory after the fact.
The warrant states that Williams took a call Wednesday night from a person with a tip on the whereabouts of Cleo Henderson, who is wanted on a first degree murder charge.
Police claim Williams then called Henderson to tell him that police knew where he was.
Williams was arrested and taken to the Shelby County Jail. Henderson is not in custody.
