Life is full of adjustments. As we adjust to moving our clocks ahead and spring on the way, we arrived today to praise and worship our Heavenly Father for all of life’s blessing, even the adjustments.
This is the fourth Sunday in Lent on the church calendar. Bible readings are Isaiah 12:1-6, 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 and Luke 15:1-3;11-32.
We are asking for prayers for Pastor Bill Stevenson as he prepares for hip surgery March 31. We will miss him as we know he will need some healing time.
Our Sunday school lesson was “Our Compassionate God.” The focus of this lesson was we must see that no one is beyond God’s redemption. Please do not think someone is hopeless. God may want to use you in some small way in the process of this person being redeemed.
During our worship service, Pastor Bill Stevenson always brings God’s message from the scriptures. We are very blessed to have this opportunity each Sunday. You are invited to join us at 10 a.m. for Sunday school and 11 a.m. worship service. We love to share this blessing of God’s love.
Search The Scripture is held 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Sunday evening. We are studying the Book of Acts. If you love to study God’s word, please join us at this time.
The ladies Bible study and prayer group meets at 9 a.m. each Tuesday morning. This week Edna Johle has the lesson Hannah: From Misery to Praise. Marcia Gardner will provide refreshments.
Remember we show our love for God when we share His love with others. Avail yourself to God, be the vessel He wants you to be. Share the “Good News” with others. It will prepare you for any persecution.wcp 3-18-10
