Dresden Duplicate Bridge Club Posted: Wednesday, March 17, 2010 8:02 pm The Dresden Duplicate Bridge Club meets at the American Legion Building, located on Highway 22 on the by-pass, the second and fourth Tuesday nights at 6 and every Wednesday at noon. Recent Tuesday night winners included first place, Linda Jennings and Becky Bennett, both of Dresden; second place, Alma Ford of Martin and Sarah Pentecost of Dresden; third place, Bertha Henry of Martin and Reba Nell Brasfield of Dresden; and fourth place, Diana Nerren of South Fulton and Georgiana Scarborough of Union City. Recent Wednesday winners in a North/South game were first place, Roberta Meyer and Gene Fulks, both of Paris; and tied for second place, Freddye Oliver of Union City, playing with Jack Bogue of Milan, and Bob Sanner of Union City, playing with Toni Pritchett of Dresden. Recent Wednesday winners in a East/West game were first place, Joni Martin and Ruthie Jenkins, both of Paris; and second place, Carolyn Rogers and Minnie Bess Williams, both of Paris. Winners in a game played on a recent Monday in Fulton were first place, Betty Amberg of Hickman, Ky., and Toni Pritchett of Dresden; second place, Lucy Glover and Donna Carol Howell, both of Union City; and third place, Linda Shannon of Dresden and Sarah Alexander of Martin.
