Valentine 4-H Workshop Posted: Tuesday, March 9, 2010 8:02 pm VALENTINE WORKSHOP — Each month the Obion County Public Library and the Obion County University of Tennessee 4-H Program team up and provide workshops for children in grades K-4. These workshops provide students with vital life skills such as leadership, positive communication, building relationships, achieving goals, responsibility, independence and citizenship. Children participating in February’s workshop celebrated Valentine’s Day. During this nature workshop, youth created love albums and decorated sugar cookies. Volunteers helping during the workshop included 4-H Honor Club members Nancy Davis and Chelsea Darnell and Junior HIgh 4-Her Samantha Davis.
