Larry Worrell Posted: Tuesday, March 9, 2010 9:03 pm Larry Lynn Worrell, 53, of Union City died March 8, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Archie officiating. Burial will follow in Stanley’s Chapel Cemetery near Union City. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Andy Worrell, Andrew Worrell, Henry Flowers Jr., Jamie Worrell, Matthew Worrell, John Worrell, Pat Worrell and Bill Hatchett. The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Cancer Agency through the Hometown Walk of Hope. He was born April 10, 1956, in Obion County, son of the late John Callicutt and Annie Ruth (Hoffman) Worrell. He married the former Florence Flowers Feb. 10, 1978. She survives. He was an employee of the Union City School System and a member of Northwestern Missionary Baptist Church near Martin. He is also survived by his son, Jeremy Worrell of Union City; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Bill Hatchett and Sue and Mike Moore, all of Union City; seven brothers and six sisters-in-law, Johnny and Carolyn Worrell, Terry and Frankie Worrell, Doug and Debra Worrell, Randy and Tammy Worrell, Andy and Holly Worrell and Pat Worrell, all of Union City, and Wayne and Ramona Worrell of Brookport, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Pattie Worrell.wcp 3-9-10 |
