Miss Jenkinson, Davis plan June wedding

 The engagement and forthcoming marriage of April Joann Jenkinson of Pinewood, S.C., and Donald Leland Eldridge Davis of Sumter, S.C., are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Furman Jenkinson Jr. of Pinewood. Her grandparents are Mollie S. Jenkinson and the late Richard Furman Jenkinson Sr. of Pinewood and Alice H. Reid, formerly of Union City, and the late William Terry Reid of Parsons. Her great-grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hamilton Sr. of Union City.
She graduated from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C., with a bachelor of arts degree in modern languages and a K-12 teacher certification. She attends the graduate school of College of Charleston in South Carolina. She is a graduate assistant in the French department at College of Charleston.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Eldridge Davis of Sumter. His grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Leland Eldridge Davis and the late Harvey D. Jarrett, all of Sumter, and Bill Manson and the late Jeannette Jarrett Manson of Northport, Fla.
He graduated from Central Carolina Technical College in Sumter with an associate’s degree in industrial technologies. He attends Winthrop University, where he is also employed in the maintenance department.
The couple will wed June 26 at Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church in Pinewood.
