Completed arrangements are being announced for Joyce Sutton, 67, of York, Pa., who died Feb. 8, 2010, at York Hospital. She was the wife of Carlous Sutton, formerly of Obion, who survives.
Services were set for 2 p.m. today at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. Richard Carruth officiating. Burial was to follow in Elbridge Cemetery near Obion.
Pallbearers were to be Gerald Simrell, Mark Simrell, Tommy Sellers, Bill Sellers, Yates Sellers, David Vaughn, Mac Sutton and Greg Ervin.
She was born in Maury County Feb. 3, 1943, daughter of the late Wilburn and Elsie (Gibson) Smith. She was a retired purchasing agent for Frito-Lay.
Survivors also include her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Stephanie Sutton of Manchester, Pa.; her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Jeff Hake of Mount Wolf, Pa.; her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Monica Smith of Columbia; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barb and Boyd Hardin of Albertville, Ala., and Betty and Ken Butterworth of Goodlettsville; her sister-in-law, Paulette Sutton of Memphis; six grandchildren, Alex Hake, Lauren Hake, Nathan Hake and Noah Hake, all of Mount Wolf, and Ona Nicole Sutton and Annabelle Sutton, both of Manchester. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Anson Yeager.
