Jimmie Motley, 80, of South Fulton died Feb. 11, 2010, at her home.
Services wil be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with the Rev. Anthony Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
Friends may call at the funeral home 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday.
She was born Feb. 20, 1929, in Hickman County, Ky., daughter of the late Walter and Susie (Titsworth) Alexander. The widow of George King Motley, she had been employed at the former Garan’s Inc., and was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Oakton, Ky. She had lived in this area all her life.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John Wayne and Althea Motley of Fulton; her grandson, John Wayne Motley Jr. of Union City; two granddaughters, Lakeesha Williams of Fulton and Mashelle Bolden of Union City; and two brothers, James Alexander of South Fulton and Willis Alexander of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, George Alexander, Raymond Alexander and Lee Alexander; and her sister, Fannie Mae Large.
