Madgelene Boyd May

Madgelene “Madge” Boyd May, 78, of Bruceton, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Noel Edwards and Bro. Stan Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock.
Eddie Griggs, Wesley Hill, Luke Foster, Frankie Akin, Matt Hudgins and Jamie Coleman will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. May was born May 26, 1931, in Martin, daughter of the late John William and Elvie Idella Grisham Boyd. She was the widow of Clifton E. May. She was an inspector for Henry I. Siegel Company, Inc. and attended Prospect Baptist Church in Hollow Rock.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Dennis Foster of Trezevant; one son, Keith May of Bruceton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Hilda and Jessie Griggs of Nashville and Myra Boyd of Martin; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Sandra Boyd, Kent and Patty Boyd, all of Martin; two grandchildren, Luke and Kayla; and one great-grandson, Trevor.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Billy Joe Boyd.
