Completed arrangements are being announced for Eva Mae “Bossie” (Priest) Alexander, 85, of Union City, who died Feb. 9, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Dr. Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery in the Crystal community.

Friends may call today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Keith Douglas, Gary Grooms, Gary Haynes, David Kay, Jason Alexander and Hugh Parker.

She was born Jan. 23, 1925, in Obion County, daughter of the late Charlie “C.P.” and Maude (Forrest) Priest. She was a retired employee of the former Troy Manufacturing Co., where she worked for 15 years, and was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Shelia Tanner and Sherry Joyner, both of Union City; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Steve and Barbara Alexander and Donnie and Debbie Alexander, all of Union City, and Larry Alexander of Memphis; two sisters, Ruby Hicks and Ethel Brokenshire, both of Union City; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Gaynell Grooms; and two brothers, Jack Priest and Gene Priest.
