Florence (Davison) Brashier, 80, of Tiptonville died Feb. 3, 2010, at her home.
Services were set for 11 a.m. today at Tiptonville First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Carr officiating. Burial will follow in Tiptonville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Davison, Marcus Davison, Travis Davison Jr., Lance Davison, Faron Collins and Mike French.
Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg is in charge of arrangements.
She was born April 3, 1929, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late William Edgar and Lucy Anniel (Junior) Davison. She was the widow of Wesley Brashier, who died in 1994, and was a sanitary technician.
Mrs. Brashier was an active member of Tiptonville Baptist Church for 60 years and was a member of Troy Chapter Order of Eastern Star. She had been a “Pink Lady” at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include four daughters, Linda Fears of New Market, Ala., Jeannie Nelson of Tiptonville, Judy Quick of Hornbeak and Lori Osteen of Martin; her sister, Lois Odle of Dresden; two brothers, Harold Davison and Travis Davison Sr. of Finley; six grandchildren, Susan (Fears) Swinford, Robert Calton, Cody Quick, Kellie (Quick) Stacks, Cass Mitchell and Tyler Mitchell; and her great-grandson, Noah Elizabeth Quick.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Ray Brashier.
