Completed arrangements are being announced for Robert H. Baker, 91, of Troy, who died 5:48 a.m. Jan. 27, 2010, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Revs. John Poore and Judd Mowery officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery near Obion.

Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 this evening.

Pallbearers will be David Lamastus, Kenneth Driver, Daniel Baker, Robbie Baker, Brian Wilder, Robert Forrester, Billy Joe Knight and Tim Long.

He was born Sept. 29, 1918, in Hickman County, son of the late John and Bertie (Nichols) Baker. He married the former Sara Lois Orton Dec. 26, 1939. She died Dec. 22, 1990. He was a retired farmer and a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jerry Lamastus of Hornbeak and Darlene and Bill Driver of Troy; two sons and daughters-in-law, Sam and Brenda Baker of Obion and O’Neil and Nancy Baker of Troy; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Marcia and David VanAlstine of Memphis, Jenny and Brian Wilder and Kenneth Driver, all of Obion, Robbie and Melody Baker, Daniel and Courtney Baker and Christy Driver, all of Troy, Carol Baker of Kathleen, Ga., Melanie Baker of Murfreesboro, David and Melissa Lamastus of Hornbeak and Michelle and Jimmy Hall of Knoxville; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lulye Dorton of Union City and Sarah Nash of Lyles; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Baker and Berneice Baker, both of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Annie May Baker and Mary Frances Cochran; and four brothers, John Edward Baker, William James Baker, Carl Walker Baker and Loy Nichols Baker.
