E.W. James taking Haiti relief donations
E. W. James and Sons Supermarkets is taking donations for the remainder of January and February for earthquake relief in Haiti.
Cashiers will ask for a donation of an amount to the fund at check out. 
“E. W. James and Sons has always been community minded and has helped with donations of products and funds to a lot of causes since 1934.  Our industry is calling upon us for humanitarian aid to the disaster in Haiti, and we’d like to offer the chance for our customers to contribute as well” according to Steve Hilton, Director of Advertising.
“We know all too well what it means to be susceptible to a large earthquake and what damage it could do to our local communities.  The situation is rough in Haiti and we want to help.”
Donations will be sent to the American Red Cross and can be made at any E. W. James location, as well as Kimberly’s Market in Gleason.
