COAT COLLECTION — Junior Auxiliary of Obion County recently held its annual “Coats for Kids” drive. JA received many coats that will be distributed to children in Obion County. The coats are being housed at the Career Technology Center in Union City. Assisting the JA with this drive are Heather Kendall, Obion County’s coordinator of school health, and Amy Bright, Mrs. Kendall’s former assistant. Tracy Bruff, owner of Town and Country Cleaners, and Vanessa Petty cleaned the coats which were received. On hand to receive the coats recently were (from left) JA members Angelia Davis, Ashley Phillips and Shantelle Carter, and Mrs. Kendall, Mrs. Bright, Ms. Petty and Bruff. If anyone is in need of a coat, they are asked to call Mrs. Kendall at 885-7171.
