The following cases were disposed of Jan. 12 and Jan. 14 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed. All others are published, including judicial diversions, without exception.
• Tony Ray Daniels (3904 Ken-Tenn Highway, Union City) — worthless check, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation, pay check and costs.
• Abraham Griffin (936 Mill Creek Road, Troy) — worthless check, pay costs on one count and checks on three counts.
• Anthony Huff (912 North Division St., Union City) — public intoxication, $10 fine, costs, banned from Walmart.
• Ashley McElrath (1533 High School Drive, Apt. 66, Union City) — disorderly conduct, unsupervised probation, $50 fine, costs, 30 days jail suspended.
• Michael W. Pride (Lot 11, Homestead 2000, Troy) — driving while license revoked, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except 60 days, fine and costs, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation.
• Regina C. Rodriguez (1049 Old Dukedom Road, Mayfield, Ky.) — driving under the influence, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except 48 hours, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation, $350 fine, costs, driver’s license revoked one year.
• Marcus Xavier Briggs (367 Mary Kay Drive, Medina) — driving under the influence, $350 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except 48 hours, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation, driver’s license revoked one year.
• Quintie M. Cox (9399 East Walnut Grove Church Road, South Fulton) — habitual traffic offender and driving while license revoked, bound over to the grand jury.
• Melissa A. East (703 South First St., Union City) — five counts of forgery, waived to the grand jury.
• William F. Huey (1323 Palestine Road, Obion) — two counts of simple assault, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except time served, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation, no contact with victim.
• Justin Scott Porter (300 Eaglewood Drive, Kenton) — possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except time served, seven days jail, fine and costs, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation; simple possession/casual exchange, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except time served, seven days jail, fine and costs, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation.
• Nathaniel O. Ray Jr. (722 Broadway, South Fulton) — simple assault, supervised probation.
• Robert W. Roney (426 West Jackson St., Apt. 10, Union City) — possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, $150 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except 30 days, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation; three counts of community supervision violation, 30 days jail on each (concurrent), costs.
• Jerry Still (1557 East Main St., Apt. 6, Union City) — unlawful possession without a prescription, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except time served, 10 days jail, $750 fine, costs.
• Willie R. Bonner (1408 East Church St., Union City) — simple possession/casual exchange, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except time served, $250 fine, costs, six months supervised probation.
• Byron J. Fuqua (126 West Ashley Drive, Gleason) — rules and regulations violation (TWRA), fine and costs.
• Nelson Tolley (3417 Highway 45 West, Kenton) — probation violation, 11 months and 29 days jail (consecutive), released into Drug Court program; theft, waived to the grand jury.
• Joe B. Cary (4836 Rives-Mount Pelia Road or 4072 Turner Road, Rives) — violation of Hunter Protection Act, 20 hours of community service.
• Linden A. Smith Jr. (3513 East Crockett Road, Rives, or 1517 North Clover St., Union City) — violation of Hunter Protection Act, 40 hours of community service.
