Tickets on sale now for ‘Joseph’ production

“Joseph” is back by popular demand.
Masquerade Theatre will once again present Andrew Lloyd Weber’s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” March 11-14 and March 18-21 at the historic Capitol Theatre in downtown Union City.
Due to high demand, tickets will go on sale Monday at Lanzer Printing & Office Supply at 203 South First St. in downtown Union City. Tickets are $15 each and groups of 25 or more may purchase tickets for Thursday or Sunday performances at $12 each.
The Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2.
A spokesman for the production said those planning to attend the show should reserve tickets early to ensure availability for the performance they and their friends and family would like to see. Tickets are already being requested and cast and crew members are working diligently in anticipation of good attendance.
The cast is comprised of both younger and older performers from Obion and Weakley counties.
Cast members include Rebecca Easley and Sarah Triplett as the narrators; Benjamin Easley as Joseph; Dr. David Russell as Jacob; Kenny Adkins, Drew Bathstelli, Brandon Bennett, Brad Cook, Kevin Lasater, Brandon Neal, Dave Schlager, Tim Southerland, Dr. Kirk Stone, Dr. Jeff Triplett and Dr. Matthew Wohlfarth as the brothers; and Jenny Gilliland, Linda Harrelson, Cindy Kuberski, Angie Morrow, Chris Norton, Karleen Sternisha, Lou Anne White and Rita Winter as the wives.
The role of Potiphar will be played by guest performers different nights and will include Bentley Beard, Mike Cox, Weakley County General Sessions Judge Tommy Moore and Bill Sanderson.
Other cast members include John Alex Warner and Drew Crews as Egyptian guards; Michael Poore as Pharoah; and Mary Beth Chandler, Macy Early, Heather Gilliland, Molly Maclin, Kristin Moss, Katy Searcy, Imori Sergerson, Cathy Smith, Brenna Taylor and Elizabeth Zalsman as Egyptian Princesses. Children’s chorus members are Brianna Anderson, Benjamin Beard, Molly Beth Blackwell, Madison Butner, Mason Davidson, Griffin Gibson, Destinee Mayo, Austin Morrow, Anna Oliver, Walker Ross, Sarah Schlager, Alyssa Underwood, Arianna Warner, J.T. Watford, Daniel Wohlfarth and Luke Wohlfarth.
Union City’s own Sacchi Doss will direct the production, with the assistance of Denise Russell and John Easley.
