Church plans events

Area women are invited to bring their scrapbooking supplies and new holiday pictures and enjoy three child-free hours of scrapbooking Saturday from 9 a.m.-noon.

“While moms are creating, their children from 2 months to 11 years old will have a blast with their own crafts, games, stories and snacks,” according to children’s pastor Lori Eilers at Union City’s First Assembly of God.

There will also be door prizes and some “goodies” for the women, Mrs. Eilers added.

Call 885-2612 to reserve a space or call 446-4014 for more information. This is a free event.

The church is located at 1810 Pleasant Valley Ave.
