The following cases were disposed of Jan. 5, 6 and 7 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed. All others are published, including judicial diversions, without exception.
• James Bradley Kent (583 Eaton Brazil Road, Trenton) — contraband in a penal facility/conspiracy, bound over to the grand jury.
• Samantha Medley (1428 Campground Road, Troy) — theft, $100 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation, banned from Walmart.
• Bobby C. Powers (121 Sixth St. or  325 Ward St., Obion) — contraband in a penal facility, bound over to the grand jury.
• Tracie A. Davis (1350 Highway 183, Troy) — no driver’s license, $100 fine, costs.
• Evelyn Bass (517 Nash St., Apt. 49, Union City) — assault/attempt, six months judicial diversion, restitution reserved, costs.
• Joshua B. Poole (4656 Bethlehem Road, Union City) — possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia/attempt, fine and costs, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion; simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, fine and costs.
• William A. Taylor Jr. (4001 Cloverdale Road) — assault/bodily injury, time served, $100 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation.
• Danny R. Wilson Jr. (408 Central Ave., South Fulton) — assault/attempt, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, $733 restitution, no contact with victim (both ways); assault/attempt, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, no contact with victim (both ways).
• Timothy E. Wilson (2352 Treece Road, Hornbeak) — theft of property, 11 months and 29 days jail, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation, $300 restitution, fine and costs, no contact with the victim.
