Monday, Dec. 28
6:32 a.m. — North Fifth Street, medical.
9:03 a.m. — 1003 Mount Zion Road, investigation.
10:34 a.m. — Bill Burnett Circle, medical.
11:23 a.m. — East Reelfoot Avenue, medical.
12:38 p.m. — 500 East Church St., smoke investigation.

For the week of Dec. 27-Jan. 2, the Union City Fire Department had a total of 25 alarms, including 18 medical calls, one commercial alarm, one residential fire alarm, one vehicle fire, one rural alarm, one motor vehicle accident, one smoke investigation and one carbon monoxide investigation. There were 118 alarms for the month of December and the Union City Fire Department answered 1,484 alarms during 2009.
