Nancy Ione (Perry) Wilson, 84, of Martin died Jan. 1, 2010, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
A prayer service is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until the hour of services Wednesday.
She was born Aug. 13, 1925, in Crutchfield, Ky., daughter of the late Milt and Lillie (Taylor) Perry. She was a retired nurse and had worked at that profession for 47 years, including service at the former Obion County General Hospital, the former Union City Clinic, the Doctors Clinic in Union City and Martin Medical Center. She was a member of Union City First Baptist Church and a life member of Jones-Walker Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4862 Auxiliary in Union City and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, J. Keith and Donna Thompson of Union City, Steve Thompson of Martin and Carrie Thompson of Alexander, Ark.; her sister, Ebon Fagan of Detroit; her granddaughter, Celina Burks of Alexander; two great-grandchildren, Rachel Stickney and Gregory Stickney, both of Alexander; and three step-grandchildren, Melissa Cunningham of South Fulton, Leslie Brandon of Martin and Michael Brandon of South Fulton.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Gene D. Thompson, and four brothers and four sisters.
