Edna Earle (Touchstone) Killion, 86, of the Shawtown community died Dec. 31, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cobb’s Chapel Cemetery near Hornbeak.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Monday.
Pallbearers will be Barrey Kirk, Russell Kirk, Jimmy Kirk, Keith Kirk, Ben Kirk, Brett Kirk, Kyle Kirk, Brian Breeden, Mike Thompson, Lonnie Touchstone and Danny Quinn. Honorary pallbearers will be Levi Touchstone, Stephen Touchstone, Shane Touchstone, Robert Touchstone, John Touchstone, James Touchstone, Andrew Touchstone, Clifton Touchstone, David Touchstone, John Touchstone and Stephen Womack.
She was born June 8, 1923, in Obion County, daughter of the late Stephen Touchstone and Elizabeth (Morris) Touchstone Carter. She married J.E. “Chuck” Killion on Dec. 29, 1941. He died Oct. 8, 1986.
A member of Mount Zion Church of Christ, she had been a bookkeeper for Reliable Electric Co. in Franklin Park, Ill., for 26 years.
She is survived by a son and his wife, Russell and Rowena (Gray) Killion of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; two granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Kelly Killion of Geneva, Ill., and Meghan and Ray Michalsci of Batavia, Ill.; a sister, Minnie Lou Kirk of the Shawtown community; two sisters-in-law, Marion Killion of Chicago and Jo Touchstone of Enid, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, J.B. Touchstone, Nicholis “Nick” Touchstone, Morris “Doc” Touchstone and Jake Touchstone.
