Center announces schedule Posted: Wednesday, December 23, 2009 8:01 pm The Golden Living Center in Union City has announced the following activities for Dec. 27-31 Sunday: Baptist Temple of Union City will visit and hold services at 10 a.m. At 3:30 p.m., Bishop Street Church of Christ in Union City will visit and hold evening services. Monday: The beauty shop will be open all day with services provided by Metta Sisk of Union City. One-on-one visits with residents will be offered 7-9 a.m. by volunteers and the activity department. From 9:30-11, a New Beginning with Reelfoot Baptist Church will be held with the residents in the main dining area. A Monday afternoon singing and Bible study will be held 1-2. Tuesday: At 9:30 a.m., coffee and juice will be served in the main dining area. At 10:30, a dancercise exercise class will be held in the main dining area. A time of reminising will be held with the residents in the north dayroom at 11. At 2 p.m., balloon volleyball will be played with interested residents. At 7, Terry Phillips of Union City will visit and hold a sing-a-long. Wednesday: The Coffee Club will meet at 9 a.m. in the main dining room. At 10, Joan Howard of Hornbeak will host the Crossroads group. The Rose Bushes, a resident artist group, will work on still life paintings at 10:30. At 2 p.m., the facility’s resident council will meet. The Goldentones, the facility’s senior choir, will hold practice at 2:30. Thursday: The beauty shop will be open all day. At 9 a.m., the Coffee Club will meet in the main dining area. Bishop Street Church of Christ will visit and hold Bible study at 10. At 10:30, dancercise will meet in the north dayroom.
