The accident was investigated by Trooper R. Clemmons.
According to the THP report, Dennis R. The vehicle overcorrected and went across both lanes in a counterclockwise rotation, then exited the west side of the roadway and struck a tree on the right center before overturning. The vehicle came to a final rest on its left side facing south.
