Dyersburg State Community College is inviting area photographers to capture images of life at the college Sept. 16.
Participating photographers may then submit up to five images for consideration in the “Day in the Life” Photo Contest. From these submissions, photographs will be selected for use in DSCC’s 2008-09 annual report.
The annual report, which will be formatted as a calendar, is used to showcase Dyersburg State. It is distributed to friends of the college each year.
To participate, photographers must register by Monday with the DSCC Office of Public Information in Room 150 of the Eller Administration Building on the Dyersburg campus, with the main desk of the DSCC Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County or with the main desk at the DSCC Obion County Center in downtown Union City. Participants may pick up an entry packet, sign and turn in the participation and photo submission requirements form, and then have their photo identification badge made.
There is no fee to participate. Those interested may contact DSCC director of public information Jane Pate Vondy by telephone at (731) 286-3347 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
