| The annual Soybean Festival 5K Road Race, 5K Walk and 1 Mile Kids Run is set for Sept. 12 starting at the Martin Recreation Complex in Martin.
The 1 Mile Kids Run will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the 5K Road Race and Walk starting at 8:15 a.m. that day.
Entry fee for the 5K is $10 in advance and $15 on race day. Entry fee for the walk and kids run is $8.
All registered entries will receive a T-shirt. Trophies and ribbons will be awarded in various age groups for the 5K run.
The event will be timed by the Jackson Roadrunners Club.
