Completed arrangements are being announced for Tanya Carol Allison, 35, of the Shawtown community, who died Aug. 25, 2009, of injuries received in an automobile accident near Trimble.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home, with burial following in Cobb’s Chapel Cemetery. The Revs. Jimmy Calhoun and Brent Petty will officiate. Pallbearers will be Danny Smith, Marty Vaughn, Brad Woody, Dale Treece, Mark Seiber, Lucas Hamilton, Bryan Cranford and Kenneth Mobbs. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Quinn, J.R. Seals, Jeremy Seals, Bob Montgomery, Tim Smith, Kelly Walker and Jay Litchford.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-9 this evening.
She was born May 11, 1974, in Union City, daughter of Nancy (Higby) Allison of the Shawtown community and Willard Allison Sr. of Ridgely. She was employed as a customer service representative for Dickson Medical Equipment in Union City and was a former employee of Lincare in Dyersburg. She was a 1992 graduate of Obion County Central High School in Troy and she attended Crosswind Church in Union City.
Survivors also include her brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Jan Allison of Shawtown; her niece, Macy Allison of Shawtown; and her fiancé, Charles “Whistle” Moore Jr. of Dyersburg.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arch and Cora Higby and Jim Allison and Zuvie Hinkle.
