Area residents who use Barkley Regional Airport (BRA) in Paducah, Ky., may wish to participate in a survey being conducted by the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce.
Delta Airlines has announced the elimination of one flight per day out of the airport by Aug. 16. However, the Airport Authority is continuing to discuss the service issues with Delta, as well as talking with other providers of air service within the region. To assist with these discussions the Airport Authority must identify the most requested destination for passengers in the area.
The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce is assisting with this effort by conducting a destination survey of the community and region.
“Barkley Regional Airport needs the input of your community,” Fran Johnson, vice president of governmental affairs for the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce, said in an e-mail to the Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce. Deadline for receipt of the completed survey is Wednesday. The survey may be completed online at http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/survey.zgi?p=WEB229DGLHH7XG.
