POINTING TOWARD HEAVEN

Members of Church of God of Prophecy, located at 1113 Section Line Road near Union City, recently dedicated an addition to their facility, a beautiful new heaven-pointing steeple. “We are so grateful for those in the community who made contributions and assisted us in making this desire a reality,” said the pastor, the Rev. Vernon Alexander. On hand for the event were (from left) Richard Morris, Harold Pollock, Virginia Alexander, Alexander, Shirley Rush, Joyce Ward, Velma Morris, Judy Johns, Kenneth Seals and Linda Seals. The steeple was added in early June. The ministry began in downtown Union City and moved to its present location in 1972. The community is invited to worship with the congregation, Alexander said.
