BIG CABBAGE — Nadia Treadwell, 9, daughter of Teena Lairy and Marcus Treadwell, both of Union City, recently picked up a big cabbage grown by a family friend Ron Fant of Union City. The plant was provided by Bonnie Plants and distributed by Union City Elementary School teacher Suzanne Doss through Bonnie’s Cabbage Program. Fant reported the cabbage weighed at least 20 pounds.
