Senior Friends have outing

The Messenger, June 9, 2009 The Senior Friends of Cobb’s Chapel United Methodist Church will meet at Autry’s Country Kitchen in Troy Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. The last meeting at Autry’s included good food and fellowship, a spokesman said. Those attending included Thelma Miller, who gave the devotional; Norval Cranford, who gave thanks for the meal; Virginia Cranford; Bill Stone; Aaron Smith; Peggy Woody; Ilar and Mattie Lou Moran; Leon and Ruth McCullough; Junior and Betty Davis; Mary Nichols; Maudie Byrd; Clen Reavis; Anna Mae Muse; Leroy Albritton; Cy and Etta Harris; Betty Prather; Thelma Calhoun; Ursula Luker; and Lou Gargus. Birthdays were celebrated by Maudie Byrd and Clen Reavis and the group wished Mr. and Mrs. Moran a happy 53rd anniversary. Readings were presented by Mrs. Moran and Mrs. Prather.
