Renewal time begins Posted: Friday, June 5, 2009 2:44 pm The Messenger, June 5, 2009 Postcards were mailed to residences in the Twin Cities this week as the Twin City Ambulance Service begins renewing and accepting memberships, according to Fulton Fire Chief Jim Hartz. New memberships can only be accepted from June 1 through July 1. Hartz said memberships are vital to both the community and to the individual “so we can keep providing services.” He said services available include Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support. “Remember, membership fees keep an ambulance available. Transport fees pay for the ambulance to respond,” he explained. Hartz said Twin Cities residents who pay their ambulance fees on their electric or water bills should simply disregard the letters they received in the mail. The Twin City Ambulance Service serves Fulton, South Fulton and Hickman, Ky., as well as all of Fulton County, Ky., and parts of Hickman County, Ky., Graves County, Ky., Obion County and Weakley County.
