Everett Woodruff Posted: Friday, June 5, 2009 1:44 pm Everett “Woody” Woodruff, 78, of Winchester, Ky., died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Lexington, Ky. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery, Dukedom with Chaplin Alan Miller officiating with Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, Ky. in charge of the arrangements. Woodruff was born August 6, 1930, in Weakley County, son of the late Tommie and Lorene Hodges Woodruff. He was a United States Navy veteran and was retired from Rockwell International as an electrical engineer. After retirement worked for five years for the Winchester Clark County Disaster Emergency Services. He was past Master of Lodge #943, member of Lodge #20, member of the pioneer amateur radio club, past chairman of the LEPC in Winchester, member of Clark County R/C Barnstormers Model Airplane Club. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bobbye Bowlin Woodruff of Winchester, Ky.; two daughters, Lisa Kays of Harris Township, Mich. and Lori (Dwight) Tenny of Lexington, Ky.; one brother, Nathan Woodruff of Ooltewah; and four grandchildren, Tamra K.
