Caroletta Holt, 79, of Fulton, Ky., died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, in Clinton-Hickman County I.C.F. Nursing Home.
Services will be held 2 p.m. today at Hornbeak Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with burial in Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton.
Mrs. Holt was born May 28, 1930, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of the late Clarence and Margery Robinson Samuels. She was the vice president of the former City Drug Store in Fulton and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and Cokesbury Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Edward R. Holt of Fulton; four daughters, Cathy Coleman Bennett of West Des Moines, Iowa, Denise Coleman Postell of Locust Grove, Ga., Ann Holt Newton of Bartlett and Ellen Reid I’Anson of Friendswood, Texas; two sons, Michael Coleman of Concord, N.C., and Freddie Coleman of Paducah, Ky.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Love Wait and one sister, Katie Hoopaw.
