Final plans announced for Harris, Regen vows

Final plans for the wedding of Brooke Harris of Covington and Andrew Regen of Union City are being announced today.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Harris of Covington. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Edgin of Dyersburg and Mr. and Mrs. Freemon Harris of Union City.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Regen of Union City. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kay of Germantown and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Regen of Nashville.

The ceremony will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Union City. Music will begin at 6:30. The Rev. Ron Cox will officiate.

Nuptial music will be provided by Delana Easley, pianist; Terry Hailey, organist; Barry Keathley, vocalist, all of Union City; and Sigrid Lillegard, violinist, of Martin.

Whitney Ray of Union City and Anna Moore of Martin will be maids of honor. Serving as bridesmaids will be Maddie Carrington, Mallory Powers and Angela Davis, sister of the groom, all of Union City; Annie Harris, sister of the bride, of Covington; Lauren Kozlowski of Jackson; Amber Moultrie of Fairview; and Megan Witherspoon and Heather Yarbro, both of Martin.

The groom-elect’s father will serve as best man. Groomsmen will be Garrett Flannery, Logan Flood, Adam Reeves, Jay Davis, brother in-law of the groom, and Kizer Harris, cousin of the bride, all of Union City; Dustin Gibbs and Matthew Pickle, both of Selmer; Hunter Harris, brother of the bride, of Covington; and Richard Pike, cousin of the groom, of Dyersburg.

Ushers will be Jimmy Hiller of Nashville; Justin Keathley and Clay Searcy, both of Union City; and Brooks Weatherford of Selmer.

Wilson Harris, cousin of the bride, of Union City will serve as ring bearer and Meg Kizer of Union City will serve as flower girl. Tucker Davis, nephew of the groom, and Molly Kizer, both of Union City, will serve as bell ringers.

Presiding at the register will be Angel Johnson of Nashville and Emily Anne Sparks of Union City. Program attendants will be Brittany Cox of South Fulton and Natalie Pike, cousin of the groom, of Dyersburg. Katie Griffith of Murfreesboro will read scripture.

Following the ceremony, a reception will be held at the Hampton Centré in Union City.

All relatives and friends are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
