Bobby Naylor Posted: Wednesday, June 3, 2009 3:52 pm The Messenger, June 3, 2009 Robert Vernon “Bobby” Naylor, 73, of Hickman, Ky., died 10:12 p.m. June 1, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Strong Funeral Home in Hickman, with the Rev. Mickey Hanks officiating and burial following in Hickman City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 this evening and on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the hour of services. Pallbearers will be Curtis Boyd, Tommy Hodge, David Mayse, Scott Nichols, Charles Reams and Mike Kirk. Honorary pallbearers will be Coy Robinson, Buzz Blincoe, Bubba Parker and Harold Garrison. He was born Jan. 20, 1936, in Hickman, son of the late Kelly and Helen Naylor. He was the widower of Wanda Naylor and was a retired chemist for E.L. Bruce Chemical Co. in Memphis. He had also been a director for Disaster and Emergency Services for Fulton County in Kentucky. He was a member of Hickman First Christian Church. Survivors include his son, Rob Naylor of Rives; his brother, Gene Kelly Naylor of Martin; his sister, Marcelyne Billings of Fulton; and two grandchildren. |
