Dorothy Mae (Moore) Price, 82, of Union City died May 29, 2009, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.

Services were set for 2 p.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating. Burial was to follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were to be Daniel Wright, William Armstrong, Cory Armstrong, Heath Price, Nicholas Wilson and Steven Donnell. Honorary pallbearers were to be her sons-in-law.

She was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Obion County, daughter of the late Hubert and Laura B. (Gray) Moore. She married Oather Melvin Price July 17, 1948. He died May 19, 1988. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church No. 2 and was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Kenneth Donnell of Rives and Peggy and Bill Armstrong, Judy and Ricky Webb and Mary and Fred Armstrong, all of Union City; her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Betty Price of Troy; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leonard Moore of Hornbeak, Ralph Moore of Troy and Thomas Moore of Obion; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters and her brother.
