Billy Liliker Posted: Tuesday, May 26, 2009 3:39 pm The Messenger, May 26, 2009 Billy Liliker, 81, of the Cayce (Ky.) community near Fulton died May 25, 2009, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with the Rev. Michael Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Cayce United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until the hour of services. The family requests that memorials be made to Cayce Baptist Church building fund, in care of Frances Elliott at 268 Crutchfield St., Fulton KY 42041. He was born May 23, 1928, in Fulton County, Ky., son of the late Rebecca (Asbell) and Elmer Liliker Sr. He was married to the former Mozelle Tidwell, who survives, and had lived in Cayce most of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member and former chaplain of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a retired employee of the former Brown Shoe Co. in Union City and was a member of Cayce Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. Survivors also include his son and daughter-in-law, Billy Wayne and Donna Liliker of Cayce; two grandchildren and their spouses, Mike and Tina Grissom of Hornbeak and Angela and Jia Johnson of Troy; and six great-grandchildren, Kayla Grissom of Cayce, Kelsey Johnson and Karli Johnson, both of Troy, Mathew Grissom and Haley Grissom, both of Sidonia community, and Kelsea Adams of Hornbeak.
