Project Showcase Competitors choose a project, create an exhibit board with information about the project, give a short speech and answer questions about their exhibit. This highly competitive contest allows youth to gain important life skills such as communication skills, achieving goals, positive self esteem, responsibility and leadership. Obion County Project Showcase exhibitors included seventh-grade 4-Her Logan Stephens (top photo) and eighth-grade 4-Her Shelly Pate, both 4-Hers at Ridgemont Elementary. Stephens placed first in the large animal division with his exhibit on expected progeny differences in cattle. Miss Pate placed first in the horticulture division with her exhibit on ethanol.
