The following cases were disposed of May 12 and May 14 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Raymond Morris, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were filed in the docket books in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed. All others are published, including judicial diversions, without exception.
• Richard L. Batts (1252 Pleasant Valley Road, Apt. 2, Union City) — probation violation, 30 days jail, costs; driving while license revoked, $50 fine, costs, 30 days jail (to be served concurrent).
• Lislie A. Brown (710 Sunswept Drive, Union City) — driving without a license, $10 fine, costs; financial responsibility law violation, $10 fine, costs.
• Casey L. Durham (4375 Mount Zion Road, Union City) — theft of property, waived to the grand jury.
• Kristopher S. Edwards (2810 Lynn St., Union City) — probation violation, 30 days jail, costs.
• Joseph E. Ford (2808 East Reelfoot Ave., Union City) — obtaining drugs by fraud and forgery, waived to the grand jury.
• Kevin S. Gregory (Fourth Street, Union City) — probation violation, 30 days jail, costs.
• Peter Douglas Harmon (2308 Erin Lane, Nashville) — second offense driving under the influence, bound over to the grand jury.
• David C. Madding (670 College St., Rives) — no driver’s license, $10 fine, costs.
• Charles Mims (Kentucky) — misdemeanor evading arrest, $50 fine, costs; driving while license suspended, $50 fine, costs, 30 days jail suspended.
• Nelson C. Tovar-Valle (362 North Summit, Gettysburg, Md.) — driving without a license, $10 fine, costs, eight days jail.
• Derek T. Argo (Mill Creek Road, Troy) — casual exchange, $250 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, six months supervised probation.
• Jay Clark (4121 Billy Jolly Road, South Fulton) — driving under the influence, $350 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except 48 hours, driver’s license revoked one year, 24 hours of litter pickup, DUI school, six months supervised probation.
• Tracie A. Davis (1340 Hillsboro St., Apt. B1-5, Union City) — fraudulent use of a credit card, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, costs, restitution to the victim, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation.
• Rodriguez R. Floyd (713 North Division St., Union City) — sound amplification system in motor vehicle, $50 fine, costs.
• Kathy A. Gilliland (242 Beech Chapel Road, Troy) — worthless check, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, pay check and costs, six months supervised probation.
• Abbey Holdeman (738 Coon Williams Road, Troy) — worthless check, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, pay check and costs, six months supervised probation.
