Completed arrangements are being announced for Larry Franklin Kilzer, 56, of Tipton-ville. He died May 3, 2009, at Dyersburg Regional Hospital.

A private memorial service is planned for a later date, with White-Ranson Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.

The family requests that memorials be made to Harvest Baptist Church in Dyersburg.

He was born Jan. 13, 1953, in Chicago, son of the late Billy Franklin Kilzer and the late Peggy (Burdin) Kilzer Autry. He was a corporate accountant for American President Lines Inc. in Memphis and was a member of East Dyersburg United Methodist Church and the Tiptonville Historical Society. He was a 1973 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy (Kilzer) Moody of Atlanta; his son, Craig Kilzer of Marion, Ark.; his granddaughter, Alyssa Moody of Dyersburg; seven brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his sister.
