Frances (Walker) Binford, 86, of Madisonville, Ky., died Dec. 29, 2008, at Ridgewood Terrace in Madisonville. She was a former resident of Hickman County, Ky. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with the Revs. James Lawson and Billy Allcock officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery in Water Valley, Ky. Friends may call at the funeral home 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday. The family requests that memorials be made to Mount Zion Cemetery Fund, in care of Wayne Lawrence, 265 Wilson Road, Water Valley, KY 42085. She was born Jan. 3, 1922, in Fulton, daughter of the late James and Inez (Kirby) Walker. She married Larry Binford on March 15, 1942. He survives. She was a member of Mount Zion Old Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker. Survivors also include two daughters, Julie Graham of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Janice Sievers of Madisonville; five grandchildren, Jeff Leggett of Atlanta, Chris Nanney of Nashville, Dr. Phil Nanney of Paris, Kim Mobley of Madisonville and Eric Davis of Clarksville; five great-grandchildren, Taylor Beth Nanney, Emily Jewell Nanney, Colin Davis, Nathan Davis and Alex Mobley; her niece, Katie Beck of Clinton, Ky.; her nephew, Dan Walker of Fulton; and her sister-in-law, Agnes Walker of Fulton.
