Flora Inez Graves Finney, 85, of Martin, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at VanAyer Manor. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Murphy Funeral Home, with Bro. Terry Griffin officiating. Burial will be at East Side Cemetery. Mrs. Finney was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Obion County, daughter of the late Leonard and Erma Taylor Graves. She formerly worked at Martin Manufacturing Co., Baybee Shoe Co. and Kellwood Co. She was the widow of Wingo Finney and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Melvin Finney of Martin and Billy Joe Finney of Greenfield; two daughters, Elaine Maxey and Rhonda Tibbs, both of Martin; two brothers George Graves of Clarksville and Sammy Graves of Dickson; four sisters, Florene McCollum of Chicago, Ill., Thelma Kemp of Rutherford, Betty Davis of Collierville and Shelia Sneed of North Carolina; and 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a son, Marvin Finney; and two brothers, Tom Graves and Ralph Graves. Web site: wcp 12-30-08
