OC baseball standout Caleb Joost signs with Mid-Continent University
Caleb Joost (front, center) has signed a NAIA letter of intent to play at Mid-Continent University during the 2009 season. Joost played his first three years of high school baseball (2005-07) for coaches Jeff Kurrus and Brian Allen at Westview High School in Martin and his senior year (2008) for coach Russ Davis at OC. As a senior, Joost smashed four home runs with 12 doubles among his 43 hits and .506 batting average for the Rebels. He was selected to the All-District team and played in the West Tennessee high school baseball All-Star Classic in the spring.
