The Messenger 12.24.08 Emily Carol (Stokes) Miller of Obion was recently awarded a master of science in nursing degree from Union University in Jackson.
She was among 268 students who graduated during Union’s December commencement ceremony at West Jackson Baptist Church.
Mrs. Miller, a graduate of Union City High School, is the wife of Wes Miller. She is the daughter of David Stokes and Linda Stokes. — — — Two students from Obion County received degrees from the University of Memphis during commencement ceremonies.
The graduates included:
• Elesa “Lisa” Miller, who received a master of science degree in nursing. Miss Miller, a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society, is the daughter of Charles and Louise Miller of Union City.
• Shane Petty of Troy, who received a bachelor of science degree in sports management. , , , , |
