Completed arrangements are being announced for Charlotte (Brantley) Hart, 80, of Troy, who died Dec. 15, 2008, at Regional Hospital in Jackson. She was the wife of Troy Mayor Jimmie Hart.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Troy United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Judd Mowery and Phillip Pinion officiating. Burial will follow in Triangle Cemetery in Troy.

Friends may call at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy 5-8 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 9-11 a.m. Friday.

Pallbearers will be William Vickers, Jerry Ross, John Harris, Mark Watson, Mike Watson and Johnny McTurner. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Order of the Eastern Star No. 432 in Troy.

She was born Nov. 13, 1928, in Bardwell, Ky., daughter of the late Harve and Margie (Burnett) Brantley. She married Jimmie C. Hart April 17, 1949. He survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Troy United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star, having served as Grand Matron for that organization.

Survivors also include two daughters and her son-in-law, Mitzi Hart of Olive Branch, Miss., and Jody and Leo Smith of Covington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Debbie Hart of Dyersburg and David and Jenifer Hart of Troy; her niece, whom she raised, Kathy Simmons of Troy; six grandchildren, Mandy McTurner, Josh Hart and Jessica Hart, all of Troy, and Wes Crossett, Drew Crossett and Abby Crossett, all of Jackson; three great-grandchildren, McCall Hart and Jon Paul McTurner, both of Troy, and Lilly Crossett of Jackson; her sister, Carolyn Blackley of Hornbeak; her brother, Bobby Brantley of Athens, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Simmons and Jesse Boinoff.
