UT MARTIN STUDENTS TO INTERN IN U.S. SENATE — Two University of Tennessee at Martin students will serve as interns during spring semester. Brady Legens and Lori Beth Wilson, both of Martin, will be in Washington, D.C., from January through May. Legens will intern in the office of U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander. Wilson will intern with the Senate Republican Conference, chaired by Alexander. Legens is a political science major with an English minor. “I hope to learn in a way that will influence me to be a stronger American and be a devout follower of the ideals that have made this country so great,” said Legens. Wilson is a junior secondary education government/history major. She is planning to continue her education and obtain a master’s degree in education administration. wcp 12-16-08
