Naomi Harris Tuck, 88, of Martin and Orlando, Fla., died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Reeds Chapel in Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Tuck was born in Kentucky, daughter of the late Rev. Thomas Tyson and Annie Neota Davis Harris. She was reared in Tennessee. She was the widow of James Richard Tuck, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Central Florida and attended several churches in Martin. She taught kindergarten for 32 years in Orlando, Fla., and taught the Mary Martha Sunday School Class at FBCCF for 31 years. She was an honors graduate of Carson Newman College in 1958, a member of Kappa Delta Pi Honors Education Society with many educational honors and awards. She was a Realtor and real estate salesperson for 38 years. Survivors include one son, J. Richard Tuck Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
