|The winter storm iced the road on Monday evening and it also cleared the local high school basketball slate for both Monday night and tonight. |
Tonight’s District 14A games pitting Greenfield at Union City and South Fulton at Halls have been postponed, with no makeup dates yet announced.
On Monday, Obion Central was set to travel to District 13AA rival Milan, while South Fulton was to host 14A opponent Bradford.
However, by 10 a.m. on Monday, both OC and SF made it known that they were postponing their respective district twinbills with the threat of winter weather looming.
No make-up dates for Monday’s contests have been announced.
On a sidenote, Monday’s junior high basketball slate was also wiped clean due to the wintry weather.
Black Oak was supposed to play at Ridgemont on Monday, Hillcrest was to host Lake Road and Union City was headed to Lake County.
